Why Choose Risk At Work?

Risk At Work® shares the same Common Core (Documents, Policies, Audits, Meetings, MSDS's, etc) with the other programs of the At Work SoftwareTM range.

The reason for offering Risk At Work® as a package in it's own right (ie without the HSE components of OHS At WorkTM and HSE At WorkTM) is that there may be risk managers who don't get involved in day-to-day HSE matters - and who just want their own separate system to help them to assess and manage risk in it's broadest sense.

Risk At Work® allows you to define your own risk categories - such as Financial, Public Image, Production, Health & Safety, Environment, etc (as many as you like). You can also specify: your own risk consequences within each risk category, your own likelihoods, and your own matrices of risk level.

So Risk At Work® provides complete configurability to manage all types of risk. As the table below shows, it also provides numerous facilities for managing a wide range of associated data.

Would Another Program Be Better?

Risk At Work® is the smallest of the programs in the At Work SoftwareTM range.

OHS At WorkTM includes everything that is in Risk At Work®.

So if, in addition to managing risk, you need to manage OHS matters (Unplanned Events or Incidents, Workers' Compensation, Rehabilitation, Medical Certificates, etc) you should look at OHS At WorkTM.

If you need to also manage Environment issues then you should look at HSE At WorkTM (which includes everything in OHS At WorkTM).

If, in addition to managing risk:

then only Quality At Work® (which is the full system) would provide everything you need.

How Do I Choose The Best Program?

The purpose of the following tables (and those for the other programs in the At Work SoftwareTM range) is to help you decide which program should be the best one for you.

The starting point for this decision is the data which the program can store. (Reports, Analyses and Reminders are of course provided to suit the data in each program - but a whole raft of such features would be of no use unless the program stores the data that is relevant to you).

So the following tables summarise the data stored by this particular program.

At the bottom of this page are some ideas on what to do next.

The tables are grouped under the same Data Categories that are used by the software to aid navigation between segments of the program.

The columns on the right show you which of the listed areas are included in each of the other packages in the At Work SoftwareTM range. (In the header row of each table, "OHS?" means "Is this aspect in OHS At WorkTM". Similarly, "HSE" refers to HSE At WorkTM, and "L&D" to L&D At WorkTM).

Of course everything here is also included in Quality At Work® because that is the full system.
