AUTHORISATIONThe download on this page is for authorised organisations only. A username and password is required for the download. If you would simply like to evaluate the suitability of the program for your organisation, and have not yet received authorisation to download an evaluation copy, please Request an Evaluation. If you are approved you will be issued with a username and password which will allow you to download the installer program. |
USAGEThe installer program will install a full working version of the software (together with user documentation and an online help system) onto a computer which already has MS-Access 97 installed. (The Data File and Workgroup Security File can optionally be loaded onto a network server - perhaps to take advantage of automated backup). |
REGISTRATIONTraining Provider will prompt the user for Registration and Authentication information each time it is started (until these have been recorded). The Authentication information will be supplied to you via email. |
INSTALLATIONRead these GuidelinesPLEASE read these guidelines BEFORE you run the installer. During the course of installation you will be prompted for the folder in which the application files (interface, help, manual) will be placed. It is recommended that you accept the default folder for this. You will also be prompted for the Data Folder in which the Data File and Workgroup Security File will be placed. If your computer is NOT connected to a network it is recommended that you simply accept the default folder. If your computer IS connected to a network you may like to consider using a folder on your network server - particularly if this will permit automatic backups because it is the Data File and the Workgroup Security File which should be regularly backed up. Get the InstallerClick on the following link and, when prompted, choose Save (not Open). Then, in the Save As dialog, select the folder to which you'd like to save the installer on your computer (make a note of it because you'll need to go to it in a moment) and click Save. Run the InstallerTo install Training Provider:
This will install the required files and create shortcuts for Training Provider in the Windows Start Menu. On completion you will be asked if you want to immediately start Training Provider. You will also be able to start it from the Windows Start Menu: Start -> Programs -> Training Provider-> Application Interface. |
