Development of the programs in the new At Work SoftwareTM range) is progressing. Although evaluation copies are not yet available a demonstration can be provided in the company's Mt. Hawthorn office - which is about 10-15 minutes from the Perth CBD. If you would like to arrange this it would be helpful if you could provide your details via the Request for Evaluation form (and use the "Suggestions, Comments, Requests" box to indicate dates/times that would suit you for a demonstration). When The Change Is CompleteOSH At WorkTM will be replaced by OHS At WorkTM. (Yes, it's only a minor name change but it avoids a clash with the trademarked "OSH" name of the New Zealand government's OSH department). It might be a small name change but the new program is COMPLETELY new .. and VASTLY expanded from its predecessor. L&D-Pro® will be replaced by L&D At WorkTM. The new program is very similar to it's predecessor in the scope of data handled, and the facilities it provides, but some important refinements have been made to streamline event management and integrate it's capabilities into the At Work SoftwareTM range. What has been referred to during development as the SHELTER® program will be released as Quality At Work®, a name that better reflects both how comprehensive it is and what it's overall objective is: quality people, quality processes and quality outputs. Existing users (under Maintenance) of OSH At WorkTM and L&D-Pro® will receive the new counterparts of these programs (and tools to migrate data) at no cost. OHS At WorkTM and L&D At WorkTM will both be part of the At Work SoftwareTM range, which comprises: Training ProviderTM will continue to be available in it's existing form. |
For NowThe existing OSH At WorkTM program continues to be available and is still a very effective system that covers many of the requirements of an OHS practitioner (records, reports, analyses and reminders for: hazards, incidents, workers' compensation, rehabilitation, health, corrective actions, training and certification). Although L&D-Pro® continues to be available, it is suggested that the differences between L&D-Pro® and L&D At WorkTM make it worthwhile to wait until L&D At WorkTM is available if you are considering a purchase. |
